One of my earliest mosaics was a little bird, and I have enjoyed and continued making them and, luckily, other people also love them and they are one of my most popular mosaics. I started making them using mostly blue and white upcycled Spode china and porcelain, and sold them as ‘Little Cornish Bluebirds of Happiness’ however the other colours I now use don’t scan so well! However, no matter what colour you choose, they will bring a little light and colour into a room. This larger bird is just over 6 inches wide and is the actual mosaic you will receive, it is made from hand cut pieces of upcycled vintage china and comes with ribbon, ready to hang.
